Dust Bowl mourns the loss of Jimmy T. Bush, Sr.

Today we received word that brother Jimmy T. Bush, former Dust Bowl President and Tournament Director, 1994-2014, went from labor to reward at the Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, IN.

Jimmy T. Bush began his long tenure of service with the Dust Bowl Basketball Tournament under its Founder, the late Brother Jerry Davenport.

Jimmy T. Bush, Sr. was 53 years old in 1994 when he became President and Tournament Director. He served 21 years as President and Tournament Director. His last Dust Bowl as President and Tournament Director was in 2014 at 73 years of age.

Bush started the Dust Bowl Tournament Program Book and  was known as the “Official Voice of the Dust Bowl.” His last games announcing were championship night, Saturday, July 28, 2018.
