The annual Praise in the Park Gospel Celebration will be held July 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Kendell Perkins Park, and is open to everyone.

This year’s event features The Owensboro Men’s Mass Community Choir; Praise and Worship Leader Michael Johnson, Sr., of Truth Outreach; Christopher Michael Wilson of Embry Chapel AME Church in Elizabethtown, Ky.; and the Nazarene Baptist Church Praise Team of Evansville, Ind.

Praise in the Park is presented by McFarland Funeral Home. In case of inclement weather the Gospel Celebration will be held at the H.L Neblett Community Center, 801 West 5th Street.
